Curly Kale à la Westfalia: Serves 3-4 Persons Ingredients: 1 tin (850mL) of Lipperland Curly Kale typical "Lippish" (smoked) sausages (1-2 per person), 1 big onion, chopped 10 light peppercorns, 1 soupspoon of oats, some salt. Place 1/4 litres of water into a pot; add "Schmaltz"*, the chopped onion, the peppercorns and the sausages. Then add the curly kale and cook everthing for 1/2 an hour. finally, stir in a soup-spoon of oats. Reboil everything and season the dish with salt. The curly kale and the sausages are served with boiled potatoes. Enjoy your meal! *similar to the lard |
