Cooking instructions:
Requirements: 1 package Koopmans Stroopwafel Cake Mix, 200 g butter or margarine, 4 medium eggs, 4 stroopwafels (everything at room temperature.) Directions: Place the rack slightly below the center of the oven and preheat the oven. Grease the cake tin with butter and lightly dust the inside with flour or use cooking spray. Beat the 200 g butter in a mixing bowl until soft with a mixer. Add the cake mix and 4 eggs at once. Mix the whole with the mixer on the lowest setting for 1/2 minute. Then beat the batter with the mixer on the highest setting for 2 minutes until fluffy. Cut 2 stroopwafels into small pieces of approximately 1 cm and mix them into the batter with a spatula. Pour the batter into the cake tin and smooth the batter. Cut the remaining 2 stroopwafels into 1 cm small pieces and divide them over the cake. Bake the cake for about 60-70 minutes until done and golden brown. After 3-4 minutes you can remove the baking form and let the cake cool down further. Only when the cake has cooled completely can you carefully cut it with a large knife with fine serrations (bread knife).
