Our History

Global Reach Confections traces its history back to 1978 when it was called Hollshop Imports, based in Langley British Columbia. Hollshop was a popular supplier of a wide selection of Dutch and Indonesian foods to the specialty European retail market across B.C. and Alberta.

Our Growth

Fast Forward to 2014, and HollShop became Global Reach Confections & More. Our focus remains on Dutch imports; however, we’ve also expanded into many popular British items. Through an expanding client base, we added sales offices in Lethbridge Alberta, and Burlington Ontario, with account managers now representing Canada coast to coast! Our Burlington location also doubles as a satellite warehouse servicing Ontario to the East coast.

Further Growth

Fast forward AGAIN to Spring of 2021 and due to a growing market, product demand, and the need for more space, Global Reach Confections relocates the warehouse operations from Langley, B.C. to Airdrie, AB. With triple the space, we’re now leveraged to serve the market with more product, better fill rates, and faster delivery!

Our Clients

Global Reach Confections continues to supply the specialty European retail markets.  The popularity of Dutch foods hasn’t stopped there however. Today we serve some select locations of larger chain stores such as COOP, Loblaws, and Sobeys.
